Chris Clark has sold the Pizza.com domain name he had owned since 1994 for a cool price of USD 2.6 million.

The domain was sold after a weeklong auction process.

He spoke about selling the domain: “It’s crazy, it’s just crazy. It will make a significant difference in my life, for sure.”

When he had originally bought the domain, he had expected it to fetch him a contract with a pizza firm for his consulting company.

He finally decided to sell the domain after he heard about the Vodka.com domain which was sold for USD 3 million few years back.
